Chery will officially introduce the iCaur V27 Long-Range Edition on September 30, 2026, according to IT Home reports. The refreshed variant prioritises extended electric range alongside interior comfort upgrades and intelligent technology enhancements. The specific pricing for this new variant remains unconfirmed.
The iCaur V27 employs a unibody structure measuring 4,909 mm in length with a 1,976 mm width and 2,910 mm wheelbase. The current powertrain uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine rated at 105 kW as a range extender, paired with a 34.3 kWh LFP battery pack delivering up to 210 km of pure-electric range under CLTC standards. Electric motors produce 185 kW in rear-wheel-drive and 335 kW in all-wheel-drive configurations.
Existing trim levels span three variants priced between 169,800 and 196,800 yuan (approximately 25,343 to 29,373 USD). The interior features a floating touchscreen powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8295P processor alongside voice assistant integration supporting DeepSeek, Apple CarPlay, and Huawei HiCar. Driver-assistance capabilities vary by trim, with lower variants using conventional radar and cameras while flagship models incorporate roof-mounted LiDAR.
The model has experienced consecutive monthly delivery declines since April, dropping from 4,184 units to 1,609 units by August. The Long-Range Edition targets the competitive boxy SUV segment alongside rivals including Jetour Shanhai T2 and BYD Fang Cheng Bao 5.
