Geely Records 43,900 Pre-Orders for Galaxy Zhanjian 700 Within One Hour

Geely Galaxy officially launched pre-sales for the Galaxy Zhanjian 700 on 16 September 2026, achieving unprecedented demand. Pre-orders reached 10,000 units within 9 minutes and surpassed 43,900 refundable bookings within 60 minutes of the campaign's start. The limited "Land Ark" edition, capped at 700 units, sold out entirely.

The Zhanjian 700 offers six configurations with pre-sale pricing between 199,800 yuan for the 1.5T two-wheel-drive Explorer model and 389,800 yuan for the "Land Ark" variant. The design follows Geely's "Oriental Lion" philosophy, incorporating a full-width daytime running light and illuminated brand emblem. The vehicle measures 5,085mm in length with a 2,900mm wheelbase.

Performance stems from the Thor EM-T plug-in hybrid system, which pairs a 1.5T or 2.0T engine with a tri-motor all-wheel-drive setup. Combined output reaches 830 kilowatts (1,113 horsepower) with maximum wheel-end torque of 13,920 Newton-meters. The range-topping configuration accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 3.95 seconds and achieved 80 km/h in moose testing.

The vehicle carries a 47.14 kilowatt-hour CATL lithium iron phosphate battery, providing 305 kilometres of pure electric range under CLTC testing and over 1,200 kilometres of combined range. It supports 800-volt fast charging and delivers 5.95 litres per 100 kilometres under charge-depletion conditions.

Off-road credentials include a 30-degree approach angle, 31-degree departure angle, 233 millimetres ground clearance, and 800 millimetres maximum wading depth. The AI all-terrain digital chassis offers 17 preset driving modes, including "Crab Walk" and "Waltz Turn," reducing turning radius to 3.36 metres. A rear mechanical differential lock engages within 200 milliseconds, while an emergency floating mode permits water traversal for up to 40 minutes if wading limits are exceeded.
