Achieving 165 watt-hours per mile—currently the lowest consumption rate among certified electric vehicles—results primarily from the Cybercab's lightweight construction and aerodynamic design rather than the motor innovation alone. Tesla has not yet disclosed the specific efficiency percentage improvement the new motor delivers, suggesting the gain remains modest. Future deployment across Tesla's broader vehicle lineup remains possible.
